More Than a Kennel — A Family Passion
Great Pyrenees Haven began over a decade ago when we fell completely in love with our first Pyr, a big, fluffy, wonderfully calm dog named Summit. What started as a personal obsession became a calling. We are a small, home-based breeder located in the heart of the countryside. Every puppy is born in our home, raised underfoot, and loved before they ever meet their new family. We don't run a facility, we run a home. Our adult dogs are health-tested for hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and cardiac health as recommended by the AKC. We breed selectively; typically 2–3 litters per year to ensure every puppy gets the attention they deserve.
How We Breed
We believe responsible breeding means putting the dogs first, always. That means we say no to the wrong homes, and yes to the right ones even if it takes a little longer.

About Great Pyrenees
The Great Pyrenees has been a working companion for over a thousand years guarding flocks in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain. Today they bring the same calm, watchful devotion to families.
They're gentle with children, patient with other pets, and fiercely loyal to their people. Their thick double coat usually brilliant white and requires weekly brushing and moderate grooming.
They're best suited to homes with space, a secure yard, and an owner who appreciates their independent, intelligent nature. Early socialization and patient training make all the difference.
